Members of the Campaign Against Household and Water Taxes occupied the lobby of Price Waterhouse Coopers, the accounting firm, on Spencer Dock this afternoon.

Cllr Ciaran Perry a spokesperson for the group commented

PWC were the Government’s advisers and we want to make that link because no financial institution has been targeted. Ordinary people are suffering because of the advice PWC gave and it’s the same ordinary people that are paying the banks back, while PWC makes a lot of money.

Press Update: Campaign Against Home & Water Taxes

Occupation by CAHWT of Price Water House Coopers office successfully concluded and protesters proceed to National Convention Centre

A peaceful occupation lasting an hour conducting by members of the CAHWT from across Dublin City has successfully concluded in the offices of Price Waterhouse Coopers.

Demonstrators are proceeding to the National Convention Centre to picket out the IBEC organised meeting of Chief Executives from across Europe being addressed by Head of the EU Commission, Jose Manuel Barrosso, the Taoiseach and Junior Minister for Europe Lucinda Creighton.
