Fire up that coffee pot, turn them speakers up and day dream your way through the working day with this prime selection of fresh Irish bits and bobs.

VOIDS – ‘Begin EP’ Previews

Galway duo VOIDS make dark melodic alternative electronica with a focus on two core elements, bass and vocals. Their debut EP ‘Begin’ is dropping soon and by the sounds of things it’s one to get excited about. Amazing production, lush vocals. Check out the previews here, and stream ‘The Fear’ in it’s entirety on their soundcloud page.

ICKIS MIROLO – ‘Bloated Float Corpse’

Here’s a tasty slice of off-kilter ambient techno from Ickis Mirolo ahead of his forthcoming EP on the First Second Label. Tis free to download if you’re so inclined.

MOSCHOPS – ‘Rosetta Zone’

Gettin’ nasty now with a brilliant new track from Moschops. Synth-driven madness from another planet. There’s no feckin’ around with this one. If you’re feelin’ it then check out his ‘I Luv Space’ release from last Summer on Galway label Alkalinear Recordings.

AUTOMATIC TASTY – ‘The Twofold Exaltation Of An Acid Called Tinfoil Hat’

Keepin’ it on a synth-heavy tip still with this warm, catchy, funky-as-feck new one from Wicklow lad Automatic Tasty. I tell ya, he’s got some vocabulary on him, that lad.

PAT HIME – ‘Mistral’

Lush sound design here from Pat Hime from his upcoming ‘Thymbal’ LP on Northern Irish label Acroplane Recordings who have been putting out consistently class releases for years now.

REPLETE – ‘Hold Me’

Kilkenny producer and lovely-boy Replete is back with the ‘Hold Me’ EP on Belfast’s Champion Sound Recordings. Check out the title track here, a club-friendly piano-house headnodder.
