LGBT Noise organised a demonstration showing solidarity with Rory O’Neill (Panti Bliss) and opposing homophobia.

The protest Facebook page was shared in the last day or two and a couple of thousand turned up this afternoon on South King St. outside the Gaiety Theatre. If Lucinda Creighton and the other anti-choice, anti gay rights advocates had organised a crowd a third the size of this after spending thousands of euro and getting 45 front page mentions it would be all over the news. This however is people power, the voice of the majority and the fight against oppression. The minority, the elite, the conservative, rich homophobes days are numbered.

We will post updates and video as we get them, unfortunately we made it only as the demo was dispersing.
