Fine Gael TD Noel Coonan has spoken bravely about nipping a potential “ISIS Situation” in the bud before Sinn Féin extremists and wealthy socialist Paul Murphy create one over water charge protests.

Coonan, who almost none of you will know, is a rare treat in the Dáil with his one-liners but has excelled himself today when talking about the popular protests against water taxes.

“..the so-called Wealthy Socialist Party led by the Murph and company and aided and abetted by extremists in our colleagues here from Sinn Féin. And i think that that needs to be nipped in the bud. The people have given that signal to us now, let’s nip that in the bud, if not we’re facing what is potentially an ISIS situation in the..in Middle East.. If those people are allowed get on to do what they’re doing God help this country and people realise that. So, we have to nip that in the bud.”

  1. surely downplaying murder and sectarian violence on a massive scale should be call for censure in the house?

  2. Would love to know how he intends to ‘nip it in the bud’. Concentration camps?

  3. He has a point – didn’t the Syrians start out with water balloons before moving on to beheadings?!

  4. I know a guy in Afghanistan who is willing to join the jihad in Ireland. He has been trained by the CIA and was discharged honorably from Osama Bin Laden’s battalion. He would be a valuable addition to the water balloon course currently running in Jobstown.

  5. He’s right. Also like the polar vortex and the Ebola virus.

  6. He will win many with that angle.

We must be firm in our resolve to help him in his endeavours – bring the country to him on the 10th.

Bring your neighbour. bring your children. bring your parents. bring your grandparents. Have you talked to everyone in your community today to make this happen?

  7. Is that an actual Mick Collins quote? Isn’t it just a line from the movie?

  8. has that tory blue shirt marbles in his mouth .bog bandit .isis????????

  9. Yeah, ISIS, that well known socialist organisation… the comparisons are endless!

  10. It’s like something rejected from the script of a Fr. Ted episode “..the so-called Wealthy Socialist Party led by the Murph and company and aided and abetted by extremists in our colleagues here from Sinn Féin.
