The New Year’s Eve panic has well and truly played havoc in the rabble bunker. We’ve changed our plans every five minutes for the past week. Here’s a super quick run down of some of the options out there for those of you about to start partying. Have a good one and play safe kids.

The Last Ever Forza Italo.

Some unfortunate venue messing around has added a slight bum night to the end of Forza’s party rule. So it’s out with the Hub and over to MVP for the Italian stallions as they serve up dollops of retro classics from the glitzy days of Italo disco.. Not to be out down, they’ll be keeping the flame alive right into tomorrow in their spiritual hub of Odessa with an all dayer with more sets a go go.

See here for tickets etc.

Riddim n’ Blues

Mean while Phibsbronx is holding down, not one but two nights of Jamaican inspired having it with a twist of 1950’s rock and roll dumped in on top.  Just don’t fucking tell Harbo. The first of these is happening upstairs in The Hut and has rabble’s very own Tommy Rash pon the buttons alongside Christine McQuillian who’ll be serving up the rest of the selection.

Full deets here.

Sim Simma.

We spotted this little dancehall number late even though it’s happening right on our doorstep down the road in The Back Page.  Given the numbers going on Facebook. you’d be advised to Get there early or feel the cold wind blow outside as everyone else daggers themselves into tomorrow. Truth be told, had we copped these two nights, we’d have kept it local in D7.

Full details are on Facebook.

NYE At District 8.

nye

Less intimate by far and firmly on a warehouse having it up the front tip, NYE at District 8 was on plenty of heads list weeks ago. We were left to grab tickets at full cost. We well should’ve got in on that early bird deal. There’s a bit of a ticket chase on  for this one, so if you want to get in, get down well bloody early. Their Facebook is saying no more tickets on the door after 8pm. Headling is Kolsch, who’s Der Alte anthem has probably had you melting off the wall in your mate’s kitchen at 6am at some time in the past two years wheter you realise it or not.

Catch all the craic over here.
