James Mates, the ITV journalist, is reporting very distressing scenes from Europe’s centre. A train carrying refugees leaves Budapest station for Austria. Those on board don’t know it’s being redirected to a “camp”.

There is graphic and upsetting video from Sky News on the scene as one migrant family tried to avoid being brought to an unknown camp.
