Plans to harass women outside the Marie Stopes referral clinic in Dublin 7 during Lent were revealed in Catholic rag Alive.
Women have been harassed, intimidated and followed from family planning centres in Ireland for decades but the ’40 Days for Life’ campaign is orchestrated and international. Other countries have introduced ‘buffer zones’, sometimes painted areas, outside clinics to go some way towards protecting women and girls trying to access them.
The Marie Stopes clinic in Belfast has been the scene of a relentless campaign of street harassment. How very Christian of them.
