There’s a strong local showing this weekend in Belfast as Tw!tch gear up for their birthday bash.

Tw!tch celebrate turning ten by inviting a selection of DJs from the island that have played at their parties previously. If you can’t make it, check out the event page for the big international line-up next month. In Dublin, Barry Redsetta is taking a short break after the Out To Lunch weekender from throwing the parties and getting back behind the decks, on Friday he plays with Melly.

Two guys that have enjoyed a lot of hype recently fly in this weekend, Collate have Bjarki in the Bunatee in Belfast, while Inbhir have brought Liem to Dublin to play in The Sound House (formerly known as The Wiley Fox).

It’s a busy Saturday in the capital. Over in Pygmalion, Astelaguel boss Manglus headlines with Lauren Kenny and Aaron Nolan on beforehand. Axel Bowman and Kornél Kovács hit up Opium Rooms, while Late Nite Tuff Guy is back in town this time playing Button Factory.

There’s a lot of excitement for the Plaid show u:mack have planned for Whelans this weekend, and there may still be tickets available if you move fast. Next Wednesday, Nicholas Jaar’s DARKSIDE collaborator Dave Harrington is going to make his Irish debut.
