  We’re outsde the Dáil listening to various degrees of fundamentalist nonsense on speakers broadcastng the ‘debate’ on Clare Daly’s Abortion Bill. Some stirring speeches coming through but there is an overwhelming feeling that while Opus Dei and the Knights of Columbanus dominate the benches of our more conservative political parties the rights of women in this country will always come second to the desires of elderly priests.
