Anti Austerity March
Thousands marched in the capital today to protest against cuts and the Household Charge.
Early Garda estimates of 4,000 were wildly short of the mark as organisers and participants were surprised at the large turnout.
Trades Unions and community and voluntary groups joined Anti-Household Charge groups from around the community to fill O’Connell St and congregate for music and speeches outside the G.P.O.
