Santa Arrested in Austin, Texas

Santa Claus was at the capitol building in Austin Texas on Friday afternoon.

Surrounded by children he asked them what they wished for Christmas. The boys and girls wrote Love, Peace & Community with chalk on the ground. Then police arrested Santa. He was charged with ‘chalking the sidewalk’, another man wrote ‘Free Santa’ on the sidewalk so they arrested him also. Occupy Austin members have been arrested previously for chalking sidewalks and other minor misdemeanors.
