These images from CAWHT protestors picketing a dinner in Kells attended by the Taoiseach will be nothing new to most rabble readers.
However, following Peter Mathews call earlier today for an emergency budget to scrap the Property Tax and change the Fine Gael/Labour tack of attacking the poor the images carry a new resonance.
Protestor Réada Cronin estimates a crowd of 124 gathered outside the Headfort Arms Hotel in Kells, Co. Meath earlier this evening as Enda Kenny arrived for a dinner event. Meath and Kildare groups of the Campaign Against Water & Household Tax were amongst those protesting. See earlier report on Peter Mathews here
*UPDATE* at 935pm there are still 40 protestors waiting for Enda Kenny to leave the hotel.
