Diamond Version are two ABSOLUTE LEGENDS of the electronic scene: Alva Noto and Byetone, stalwarts of the bastion of electronica that is the Raster-Noton label. They will be performing an Irish debut of their AV show with a festival-sized stage setup. Not only that, but they’ll each be DJing afterwards till the wee hours. BUT THAT’S NOT ALL! They’ll be discussing their art and music in the Goethe Institut at 7pm, a talk which will be hosted by Lyric FM’s Bernard Clarke (who did a special on Raster-Noton last Sunday, podcast available here).
Ex-pat S_P_A_C_E_S will also be making his Irish debut, recommended for those who like their beats crunchy and angular. Grab a ticket to the talk and/or gig here before they sell out. You could chance wearing wellies in tonight for that festival buzz if ye want, not sure on the door policy though…
