A recent article in The Washington Post once again highlights the horrible inequality and inadequacy of American healthcare.
With support from the graph of a 2012 Commonwealth.org extensive survey (click here) the Post shows the hugely expensive, profit-motivated US system come dead last overall while the UK’s NHS tops the survey overall and in most individual categories.
Of course the NHS is under massive attack from a vicious Tory government and this is mirrored by the neo-liberal approach of our own governments in recent years.
Closer to Boston than Berlin? No thanks.
