Despite a rough early start, Limerick’s City Of Culture continues to ratchet up rakes of class events. This early October weekender could be just the medicine to stave off early winter blues with a weekend long mad one.

Friday opens up with Manchester club Hoya: Hoya leading a take over of Dolans Warehouse with hapes of their residents in tow. Stray is known for operating deep in the folds of 160bpm, with a slew of serious bangers under his oxters with the recent Matchsticks EP containing more rugged club vitality than most producers put out in a life time. He’s joined by longtime Bristolian warrior Sam Binga, who delivered a pure fire set in the Liquid tent at Life back in May with Mala from DMZ dropping some impromptu MC duties.

Our highlight for the Saturday will be Alex Nut who’s known for a tidy cross-spectrum selection of spice to keep things interesting. Kutmah’s also booked. With his reputation stretching back to the foundation of the LA beat scene around Brainfeeder records, he’s an ahead of the curve tastemaker with a solid show on NTS Radio now that he’s crossed the pond to London town.

If you’ve still some battery left, Sunday sees a beatsy barbeque with Brussel’s own Lefto who might be new to you, but curate an immensely forward thinking stage at Dour festival each year. We’ll see yiz dancing front left at some stage over the weekend.

You can follow the event on Facebook or hit them up on Twitter. Weekend tickets here.
