How’s that dry January going? If you are bored out of your socks and looking for something to do G-side tonight, the Bap to The Future gang are busing in two Dublin selectors for a night of tunes.

Here’s the spiel from their listing:

“So as some of you may know, factory has moved from it’s old streetfront location to a sweet lil room tucked in behind the Glasshouse (that’s the fancy bar in Electric that serves the delicious cocktails). We’ve been sticking to residents while the place gets up and running, and now feel it’s time to start getting some guests in to play.

For our first guests in the new joint we figure who best to christen it but two of Dublin’s best DJs.

Kenny Hanlon will be no stranger to most Galwegians at this stage having come down to play for us a bunch of times, most recently warming the room up in fine style before Ancient Methods and Ordinate. A consummate selector who plays a range of styles, Kenny also runs the ace Apartment Records, responsible for a ton of our favourite tracks from the likes of Lerosa, Tr One, The Cyclist, VerNon, and the criminally underrated NCW, as well as anthemic earworm Lubricating Rita from Bande Apartment.

Barry Greaves is one of Dublins best Techno DJs. Having put in the hard yards honing his skills we’re delighted to welcome him to galway for the first time. He plays across the board and manages to keep up with the latest good Techno and Electro coming out, alongside the occasional foray into more experimental climes. He just dropped an ace podcast for the Mutate lads which ye should check out for ataster of what to expect.

So all in all, 2 ace selectors with deep records delivering teh goods all night long, as we’re fond of saying round Factory way. Get on it.”

Have to say, Apartment Records honcho Hanlon completely ear wormed us at the Together Disco tent at Electric Picnic by dropping in Frankie Goes To Hollwood’s Two Tribes at peak time on the first night.

It was game over for us. Couldn’t get it out of our heads for months.

Go bust a move.

Cop the rest of the details over here.
