Clearhaze.ie catch up with Calvin James, he’s a former Irish DJ and a founder of the Scoop Foundation. He’s in Northern Syria just now and volunteering with Hayva Sor a Kurd, a branch of the Red Cross over there.

On the 22nd of April clearhaze.ie spoke with Calvin about his work and his Syrias Vibes fundraising aid initiative.

He talks about having tried to join the YPG militia as a logistician and coming home to do more civilian orientated fundraising.

He goes onto explain his eventual choice in working alongside the population as a medical support.
