Four of the best in house and techno this weekend across the island.

While last weekend Bap To The Future had Optimo over, this week as part of the Galway International Arts Festival there are two more top class bookings. First up it’s Shivers bringing over Tama Sumo to play on the Thursday, while Epoch have DJ Stingray 303 to play on the Saturday.

Up in Belfast on Friday is the GIRL launch night. They say it’s the brainchild of “Venus Dupree & Marion Hawkes who wanted to provide a platform for female djs working in Northern Ireland.” Also on Friday, down the far end of the country is one of Detroit’s finest: DJ Bone. Someone better make sure to ask him if that whistle was recorded in Sir Henry’s or not.

Tama Sumo plays again on Friday, though this time she’s in Dublin. On Saturday in the capital, Jus-Ed plays in Pygmalion. Check out the mix above featuring Anton Zap, Lerosa and some nice tunes of his own.
